HOME OF THE PRESA CANARIO: THE SOCIAL_ABLE GUARD DOG

Welcome to IPRESA holding, training, evaluating and breeding El Perro De Presa Canario.  We believe that the Presa Canario is Impressive, Intelligent, and Intimidating hence our call name I_PRESA. We have in our possession two impressive lines of the  Presa Canario breed 1st being El Primo and the 2nd Al Islah.

El Primo:

Our first line is 3 generations or more bred out of  100% Irema Curto  lines of Vento De Irema Curto  and Nestor De Irema Curto on the bottom and top. The pups and adults selected out of El Primo
are/were confident to extremely confident pups at home or abroad. Along with very good or excellent work ethic from the age of 5 weeks and above selecting pups who performed consistent and improved as they age. All pups and adults must have shown a full bite from 5-10 weeks . At 10 -12 months capable and ready from bite work along with a balanced disposition that one can trust with all family members. Agility, conformation, focus, endurance and overall attitude at the top level consistently being monitored by the scope of IPRESA’s three phase 1st year growth assessment.This is brief summary of the traits/abilities needed to enlisted/accepted into the El Primo breeding and training cultivation .

Al Islah:

Our second line crossed one generation into El Primo from one male or female out of the Haridian/ Shaka Zulu/ or any other authentic El Perro De Presa Canario  bloodline however sticking close to the type and trait /work ethic of the Presa Canario Standard aiming to add continuity of trait and type each litter for most of our the pups. This line will cross back into El Primo again only selecting the genetic truth of pups who are confident, full biters, hard biters, correct in type, structure movement etc. These pups who mature into more than what they have shown as pups rising to the call of their mostly urban influenced environments.Again this is a brief summary of the traits and abilities we seek in the Al Islah port.

So in short El Primo and Al Islah are lines within the Presa Canario breed IPRESA are the care holders and the Captain of it’s ship navigating its breeding, training,evaluations etc is IPRESA. This is our breeding philosophy or better yet a snapshot of our breeding, selection, training and cultivation of El Primo and Al Islah. We are not a kennel however a collection of individuals and families in love with the Presa Canario and so embraced it as a part of our family all over the world. However in this family El Primo and Al Islah are constantly being refined and preserved within the Presa Canario standards of the agreed upon in 1998 in the Iberian Peninsula.
